Waterloo man faces hefty fine and demerit points

A Waterloo man may earn a lot of demerit points after police say he allegedly went through two red lights in Woodstock.

Investigators say that an officer attempted to stop an S-U-V that went through a red light Wednesday morning. The vehicle then failed to stop at another solid red.

The 32-year-old driver was then stopped and charged with two separate red light infractions.

If convicted, police say he faces $650 in fines and six demerit points.
