OPP using a “strict is fair” policy this long weekend

Provincial police say they’ll be implementing a “strict is fair” policy during the Victoria Day long weekend in Wasaga Beach, Clearview and Springwater.

Police say this means there will be an increased O-P-P presence in the high vehicle and pedestrian traffic areas of Wasaga Beach.

The Victoria Day weekend traditionally draws a large volume of people to Wasaga Beach and the surrounding area.

Police say the message to visitors is — if you break the law, you will probably be charged.
