Almost $50,000 in pot seized from Cambridge home

Waterloo Regional Police are reporting a significant drug bust in Cambridge.

Police say they raided a home on Eagle Street on Wednesday and recovered 40 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $48,000, as well as $40,000 in cash.

Two Kitchener men – a 36-year-old and a 29-year-old – are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
