It appears a solution has been found to concerns raised by some residents living near the Region of Waterloo International Airport.
Airport General Manager Chris Wood says officials with Nolinor Airlines have agreed to change their charter departure time from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m.
Wood earlier told 570 News, the residents they had talked with “have definitely said that would help.”
The changes are expected to take effect in the next 30 to 45 days.
The concerns centred on the noise from the older aircraft.
Nolinor flies out of the local airport three days a week, taking workers and supplies to a mining camp on Baffin Island.
