Waterloo minor hockey player remembered on Coaches Corner

13 year old Jakob Beacock was remembered during Coaches Corner on CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday night.
Don Cherry had a picture of Jakob and his team, the Minor Bantam Waterloo Icewolves.
$1,500 was raised for his family through a draw and raffle held last Sunday at the Aud.
Jakob was admitted to the hospital two weeks ago for an appendicitis-related illness.
He was taken off life support on Monday, and passed away Tuesday morning.
Beacock’s memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd at St. George’s Hall in Waterloo at 7pm.
