Five local restaurants will be featured on the Food Networks TV series You Gotta Eat Here!
First up, is Kitchener’s southern style barbeque – The Lancaster Smokehouse. Chef/Owner Chris Corrigan tells 570 News, it was the costumers who made the show aware of the restaurant.
“The You Gotta Eat Here show in of itself and of itself is doing wonders for small business and small family run restaurants across the country to further their cause. We’re really glad to be apart of that.”
Corrigan says he doesn’t want to ruin tonight’s episode, but the show’s host John Catucci, does try their pigtails.
Four other local restaurants will appear on season three, including The Jane Bond in Waterloo, Cambridge’s Q BBQ House and Little Louie’s Burger Joint, as well as Baker Street in Guelph.
Tonight’s episode featuring the Lancaster Smokehouse airs at 9:30 p.m.
