Cambridge okays online voting

Cambridge residents will have another option when it comes to voting in October’s municipal election.
They will now be able to cast a ballot online.
The Record reports city councillors have okayed a hybrid voting system that will allow people to vote in person, by phone and online on October 27th.
Councillor, Rick Cowsill doesn’t support the online addition. He is citing security concerns and doesn’t think it will improve voter turnout.
Kitchener and Waterloo have both said no to the online option.
