According to the City of Kitchener there are some changes to how voters can identify themselves at the polls.
Voters are still required to show identification to vote, however voters do not have show identification that has a signature. To receive a ballot, anyone who has their name on the voter’s list must provide identification that has a name and address on it.
For the candidates, the nomination fees remain the same but now the fee can be paid by cash, debit, money order or certified cheque.
