Crews battle fire near Ayr

Damage is extensive following a fire at a home in North Dumfries Township this morning.

The homeowner called 9-1-1 just after 4am to report his Industrial Road residence was engulfed in flames.

The family managed to get out safely.

Police say no cause has been determined yet.
