Blizzard warning issued

A blizzard warning has been issued for Waterloo Region, Guelph and Wellington County. Environment Canada warns of blowing snow this morning and afternoon.
The temperature is also expected to drop quickly to -17.
A snowfall warning has since been dropped.
Environment Canada warns we could get upwards of 30cm or one foot of snow before it tapers off this morning.
Making matters worse is the temperature will drop off sharply today producing blowing snow and dangerous wind chills.
It says this will produce “some of the coldest air in years.”
