Barn fire near St. Thomas

Elgin County OPP are investigating a serious barn fire that broke out around 1 o’clock this morning at a farm just west of St. Thomas.
No one was injured in the blaze, however damages are estimated at 2 million dollars.
It is estimated that 900 goats were lost in the blaze, along with farming equipment, 400 bales of hay and 100 bales of straw.
Police are currently conducting scene security awaiting the arrival of the Ontario Fire Marshalls Office.
The investigation is ongoing.
