Second-Quarter Payment to Centre Wellington

The Township of Centre Wellington is $555,039 richer for hosting OLG Slots at Grand River Raceway.

This from the second-quarter non-tax gaming revenue payment from The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.

To date, Centre Wellington has received more than $19 million in non-tax gaming revenue.

The payments are based on an escalating scale of slot machine revenue that is consistent across all sites in Ontario.

In 2013-2014, the province will allocate $115 million in gaming revenue to support charities through the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
