Two local companies are hiring

Conestoga Meat Packers announced the creation of 100 new jobs to support the next phase in the ongoing development of the company.  

A grant from the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund is helping to invest in new cooler space and refrigeration equipment that will increase the plants capacity.

Another 150-thousand 500-dollar grant from the same development fund is
going to Cambridge’s Kinetics Noise Control, allowing the company to create 11 new jobs and keep 27 existing ones.

Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Employment, Dr. Eric Hoskins calls this partnership a “win-win for the local community and the province.”
