Fire trucks, tow trucks, bulldozers and more will all be on hand at the Mighty Machines Showcase today at Bingemans.

This is the 10th anniversary for the showcase and is a great opportunity to get up-close and personal with machines.

Guy Exley is the event manager and tells 570 News the showcase started because of his kids love for Mighty Machines.

“I have two boys…and when they were little they used to watch the Mighty Machines TV shows and videos…and I just got the idea of doing a live Mighty Machines event and started calling around and made it happen.”

Exley adds that children along with their parents will have the opportunity to touch, see and even operate the machines.

Throughout the years the showcase has donated a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales to SmartStart, a community program which helps children in grades 1 and 2 learn to read.
