Two dead after a crash on Hwy 7

Two people are dead after a crash on Highway 7, just east of St. Marys.
Perth County O.P.P. say a car was heading north across the Highway 7 from Oxford Road 119 onto Perth Road 118 when it was hit by a truck that was driving west on Highway 7.
The two people in the car were pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver wasn’t injured.
The O.P.P. say the roads were dry and that it was sunny at the time of the crash.
Traffic is being re-routed around the intersection east of the crash location, at Line 15 and Hwy 7, and west of the crash at line 9 and Hwy 7, and at Uniondale on Oxford Road 119 south of the crash scene.
Traffic is expected to be re-routed until approximately 9 p.m. to allow for the removal of the vehicles and the safe investigation of the crash by the O.P.P. West Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigators.
