Centennial Stadium bleachers coming down

A three week demolition of the Centennial Stadium Bleachers kicked off Monday.
The 46 year old structure raised concerns when a building condition assessment done in 2011 found some concerns with the bleachers and concrete foundation. This including the bathroom and changeroom areas.
The construction is not expected to affect the use of the stadium or ball diamond.
The area that’s being worked on will be fenced off for the three week period.
