4:07- Liberal M-P Marc Garneau is throwing in the towel. He doesn’t think it’s possible for anyone to catch up to front-runner Justin Trudeau in the party’s leadership race. Just weeks after ripping Trudeau for not releasing a platform, Garneau says Trudeau has his full support. His departure leaves seven candidates in the race. Voting for a new party leader will be conducted online and by phone early next month, with the winner to be announced on April 14th.
4:12- Cormac MacSweeney, 570 News Parliament Hill Reporter, Re: M-P Marc Garneau announced today he’s leaving Liberal leadership race, saying he feels that Trudeau can’t be stopped.
4:34- Cam Linwood, SHI Kitchener, Re: A preview of the upcoming SHI KITCHENER tournament this week taking place in rinks across the city. Special Hockey allows the developmentally challenged to achieve their own goals on their own schedule. There are no age groups. There are no tryouts.
