No parking on road as snow cleanup continues

The cleanup continues today in the wake of yesterday dumping of snow.

We received a few more centimetres overnight and that’s left some roads still on the slick side, especially the side streets.

In an effort to speed up the cleanup process, the City of Kitchener has extended its snow event until midnight tonight.

Motorists are not allowed to park on any city street all day today.

Environment Canada says we got hit with between 14 to 20 centimetres of snow from Tuesday night into this morning.
