Apparent stabbing in Kitchener

A man and woman are being treated for apparent stab wounds after being found in a Madison Avenue residence in Kitchener this morning.

Police received a 9-1-1 call just after 4am.

Investigators say both victims are known to each other and are being treated for serious injuries.

Police say there is no immediate concern for the safety of the general public.
