2:00pm – $2.3 million Waterloo Park upgrades controversial at city council
Upgrades for Waterloo Park means a spending of $2.3 million, some councilors want to know what exactly that will buy us. $775,000 will be federal grant; the city has to spend $1.6 million.

2:30pm – The Senate is a mess
The Senate has voted to officially suspend (with pay) Patrick Brazeau while he answers to charges of assault and sexual assault. Brazeau’s suspension comes as the Senate deals with growing controversy over expenses that could force some senators to pay back housing allowances worth tens of thousands of dollars. Pamela Wallin has confirmed she is being audited.
