Snowfall warning continues

A major winter storm that formed in Texas is now moving through Waterloo Region.
Our area and much of southern Ontario is under a snowfall warning.
It covers much of the province, stretching from London to eastern Ontario and north to Bruce County.
Environment Canada warns some areas could receive up to 25 centimetres or 10 inches of snow before the system moves out of the province tonight.
It says the heaviest snow will occur during the morning rush along the Highway 401 corridor from London to the GTA.
As well, brisk winds will reduce visibility to near zero at times.
570 News Weather Specialist, John Wilson forecasts upwards of 15 centimetres or six inches of snow from our area.
In the extreme southwest and in the Niagara Region area, a freezing rain warning is in effect
