St. Anne Catholic School in Cambridge has been saved.
The school board has voted against closing the school, which had been proposed in an earlier report.
This morning’s Record reports, the change of heart came after trustees learned the costs of renovating another school and moving St. Anne’s students there would be similar to the cost of renovations and an addition to St. Anne.
However, the Catholic board is still moving ahead with plans to close St. Francis and St. Ambrose schools.
