Cyclist struck on King St. E

Regional police are requesting the public’s help after a cyclist was struck on King St.

Last night, the 47-year-old Kitchener man was biking on King St. East crossing Jackson Ave. when he was hit by an older model red pick up truck.

The driver of the truck fled the scene and was described as a younger white man.

The cyclist was taken to a Hamilton hosptial with major injuries, and remains in critical condition today.

Regional Police Inspector Kevin Thaler tells 570 News the investigation is still on going and police are asking witnesses or anyone who saw anything to come forward.
