Crash in Wilmot Township

Regional police are continuing to investigate following a serious crash in Wilmot Township.
It happened on Saturday at the intersection of Queen St. and Bleams Rd. which is controlled by stop signs.
A 23-year-old man driving a GMC pick-up truck was heading southbound on Queen and a 27-year-old Kitchener man was driving a Honda with three passengers eastbound on Bleams.
The driver of the Honda did not stop at the intersection, causing the truck to hit the driver’s side of the car, pushing it into the ditch.
The driver of the car ended up at a Hamilton hosptial with life threatening injuries, and the passengers only had minor injuries.
The driver of the truck was not hurt.
Charges are pending.
