Over 100 Waterloo Region public elementary schools will be closed tomorrow as the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario targets the Waterloo Region District School Board in its latest round of rotating strikes.

In addition, the board says there will be no board-operated child care programs.
If the child care program is operated by a third party, such as the YMCA, parents are told to contact the operator to find out its status for tomorrow.

Everything will be back to normal on Wednesday.

As for today, rotating strikes are planned for boards in the Hamilton area and three in northern Ontario.
