4pm – Nexen Deal
A deal has been approved which sees a multi-billion-dollar takeover of Nexen by State-owned China National Offshore Oil Company. The Chinese Government is saying this deal is a win-win co-operation that benefits both Canada and China.

4:30pm – LRT
7 Teams are currently bidding for the contract of the LRT. The whole construction of the LRT will cost an estimated $818-million. Five teams are from Canada and the US and the other two are from Spain.
