Snow squall warning for surrounding areas

Provincial police are reminding motorists to ensure their vehicles are ready for winter conditions and to think about changing driving habits — which usually means slowing down.
Residents of many areas of southern and northern Ontario are getting practice this morning, including Waterloo Region.
Environment Canada has issued a snow squall warning for areas surrounding Waterloo Region including Woodstock, Oxford County, Goderich, Bluewater, Southern Huron County Wingham, Blyth, Northern Huron County Stratford, Mitchell, Southern Perth County and Listowel, Milverton and Northern Perth County.
570News weather specialist John Wilson says it’s the result of cold winds coming across a warm Lake Huron.
Environment Canada says some areas could see up to 15 centimetres of snow as a cold front moves across the province.
