Man facing impaired charges in crash

A Kitchener man faces impaired driving charges following a crash on Lancaster last night that resulted in a power outage in the area.

Waterloo Regional Police say a vehicle, travelling eastbound from Victoria, struck a curb and then took out a hydro pole.

Police say a 70-year-old man was helped from the vehicle by witnesses and then taken to hospital treated and released.
