Two festivals in Kitchener this weekend

The K-W Multicultural Festival runs today and tomorrow.
It features an international marketplace, delicious food, and talented performers.
Meantime, the 7th Annual Latitudes Storytelling Festival kicks off today.
It also runs through tomorrow and compliments the Multicultural Festival.
This year, it takes a look at the past while also celebrating the future in honour of the City of Kitchener’s 100th anniversary.

Latitudes is a festival of stories from around the world which are told in music, spoken word, dance performances, and fine art.
Lori-Ann Livingston, Founder of the event, tells 570 News this year’s event includes the digital storytelling project where Smartphone users can scan the barcodes placed around downtown Kitchener and take a story or leave a story.
