Magnotta Arrested In Germany

Berlin police are confirming they have arrested Luka Rocco Magnotta.
29-year-old Canadian is suspected of killing Jun Lin, a 33-year-old Concordia university student he dated, and mailing the victim’s dismembered body parts to Canadian political parties. Lin is a Chinese national, who was studying at the university.
A German newspaper is reporting Magnotta, accused of videotaping a gruesome murder before posting it on the internet has been arrested in Berlin. Bild newspaper reported police sources confirming he was apprehended Monday at an internet cafe in the city’s Neu Koelln district.
A Berlin police spokeswoman declined to comment.
Magnotta is wanted by Canadian authorities on first-degree murder and other charges. 9 days ago he fled the country, boarding a flight for Europe from Montreal’s Trudeau Airport.
Over the weekend, there were sightings of Magnotta in Paris.
