It’s a wet one today

It has been a wet start to the month.
According to the University of Waterloo Weather Station, we’ve already received nearly 20 millimetres of rain today.
570 News Weather Specialist, John Wilson says we only recorded 12-mm of precipitation in May.
Wilson says by the time Friday is over, between 30 to 35-mm of rain will have soaked us.
Power was knocked out in the Franklin-Townline area of Cambridge this morning. It has since been restored and officials tell us the outage was “weather-related.”
Meantime, subway service has been suspended on a section of the downtown Toronto subway line because of severe flooding at Union Station.
GO Transit says their lines are not affected.
