9:00 The Boathouse City councillors approved the almost $300,000 in exterior work to the boathouse with a completion expected by the end of June. The music venue MAY open but only temporarily. IF a lease agreement can be reached, the interior will need improvements including an industrial kitchen. All this talk/money and the boathouse may not be open until next year? It’s now 45 yrs old and is completely falling apart as it sits abandoned. People can’t train there anymore and it’s also not a hot topic among constituents. With the new renovations that are taking place next door at the aud, why couldn’t it be used for more parking?
