Question: What do you think? 10:30 – A report from Canada’s environment commissioner says, federally owned contaminated sites are going to cost the government billions of dollars to clean up. Scott Vaughan (the federal commissioner of the environment and sustainable development) says that the government has made significant progress closing the file on 9,000 out of 22,000 sites across the country but the remaining sites present some major problems. This is years in the making…how did we get here? What is the federal government going find billions of dollars? If there are so many major problems with the cleanup…how much is enough?
