You can use all the sports cliches you want, but a loss tonight by the Kitchener Rangers and their season is over.
The London Knights enter the Aud leading the OHL’s Western Conference Championship 3-0.
Kitchener dropped a 5-2 decision in London last night.
Rangers associate coach Paul Fixter tells 570’s Gary Doyle Show his team will need to play with plenty of emotion.
“I think you have to play like somebody did something to your Corn Flakes in the morning, and it has irritated you for the rest of the day.” said Fixter.
“We certainly didn’t play well five on five, so unless we do that, there is no tomorrow.” added Fixter.
John Gibson starts in goal and 570 News has Game 4, starting with the pre-game at 6:30.
And it could be bulletin board material for Kitchener, as London Free Press columnist Morris Dalla Costa is basically writing the Rangers off in his latest column.
If the Rangers win tonight, Game 5 goes in London on Friday night.
