Fatal crash near Stratford

A fatal crash near Stratford this morning has taken the life of a Monkton man.

59-year-old Gary Pestell died in hospital.

Perth County OPP a car hit a flatbed truck just after 7 this morning on Perth Road 119 between Road 126 and Road 130.

The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries.

Police closed the road for several hours to conduct their investigation.
