Busy night for Regional Police

Regional Police are investigating a pair of robberies in the region last night.
Police say they were called around 10:15 last night to Hemlock Street where a taxi driver was approached by a male suspect while three others stood by the vehicle.
They say the one suspect demanded personal property and another struck the driver in the face. He was left with minor injuries.
One suspect is described as a black male, about 6’2 with a thin build and was wearing a black hoodie and baseball cap.
Another suspect is described as a short black male wearing a black hoodie with grey sleeves.
Then, around 11 o’clock, police say a Pizza delivery driver was robbed on Brybeck Crescent. He was making a delivery when he was approached by three male suspects who demanded cash then assaulted the driver.
He was treated for minor injuries and police say the suspects only got away with the pizza.
The suspects are described as black males. The first was about 6’1 or 6’2 and about 18 to 23 years old. He has a medium build and was wearing a navy sweater, black winter jacket and a baseball hat.
The second suspect was 5’10 or 5’11 with a skinny build. He was wearing all black with a baseball hat.
The third suspect was wearing all black.
Police say the two robberies are not believed to be linked. Anyone with information on either is asked to call Regional Police or Crime Stoppers.
