10:00 Windmill in Waterloo…Waterloo council is spending $90,000 to consider generating electricity by wind. The proposed turbine would top a 20meter pole beside RIM Park. A study that already cost the city $25,000 suggests it would be 3 times less efficient than the average Ontario windmill. Guest: Scott Witmer, Councillor Ward One, City of Waterloo. Question: Is this a good decision? 10:30 More money to Drive…the government plans to raise the cost of fees for driver and vehicle licenses. The government says the money is going to fix roads. A drivers license next year will increase by $5 and the vehicle license will go from $74 to $98 by 2015. Question: Do you agree? Will the money really go to ‘fixing roads’? Where is it going now?
