Ideal ski conditions

Some are describing them as the best ski conditions of the year.
Despite the warmer temps, Kitchener’s Chicopee Ski and Summer Resort still has a base of 35 centimetres and is hoping for a busy March Break.
They currently have ten runs open, with the season to officially end on Sunday.
“Last year, we had a great March Break, it was similar weather…this year it’s a bit warmer.” said Lori McCrae, manager of business development at Chicopee.
“There is lots of snow, contrary to what they might think when they look out in their backyards.”
The weekend of March 24th, Chicopee will be hosting the Snowcross Championships (snowmobile races).
