Power Outages

Crews continue to work to restore power to people more than four thousand people still in the dark after yesterday’s strong windstorms.
According to Hydro One, almost 70-thousand costumers were without power yesterday, while Toronto Hydro said pockets all over the city were left in the dark.
Here in the Region about one thousand homes and businesses were affected for a couple of ours in the Bridgeport area, and the OPP reported downed hydro poles on Highway 24 in Brant County.
The violent gusts reached 100 kilometres per hour.
