Firearms charges

A Kitchener man faces firearms charges following an incident at a home on Old Chicopee Drive last night.

Regional Police say they responded to a dispute and upon investigation seized two long guns and several rounds of ammunition.

A 21-year-old man is charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm and careless storage of a firearm and ammunition.

Police say no one was hurt during the dispute.
