Police have released details of a province-wide child pornography sweep they call the largest in Ontario history.

60 male suspects are facing a total of more than 200 charges that include Internet child luring, possession, accessing and making child pornography.

Guelph Police say they executed three search warrants, arresting two men.

30-year old Shaun Murcott and 61-year old Terence Keleher are facing charges.

Keleher is currently in the United States and police are working with U-S Homeland Security to bring him back to Guelph.

“The reality is though we must remain committed to enforcing this…We view today as a success, we also recognize there’s work to be done.” said Guelph’s Deputy Police Chief, Bryan Larkin.

Waterloo Regional Police executed search warrants at two residences in Kitchener and two in Cambridge.

WRPS Inspector, Greg Lamport tells 570 News computer materials were seized and at this point no one has been arrested, but charges are pending.

“We have issued a warrant for a 21-year-old resident of Mississauga. The identity of this male has not been released.” said Lamport.

Ontario Provincial Police say officers from 24 forces arrested men and teenagers of all walks of life, including a child care worker.

Police say 22 victims were identified during the probe, and more arrests are expected.
