Last minute shoppers

Two more sleeps until Santa Claus comes to town and you can expect the last minute shoppers will be in out and about.
Do you count yourself among them? A consumer reports survey says (as of last weekend) that 1 of 4 people have yet to start their shopping. A similar Bank of Montreal survey says about 11% of people consider themselves to be last minute shoppers, still crossing names off the list.
Harry is one of them, but is close, “I just gotta pick up one of two more things and that’s it for me. I did most of it over two days ago, just gotta pick up something for me brother (sic).”
Jacklyn is ahead of the curve, “I’m completely finished, been finished for about three weeks or so.” She works at one of the mega-stores and has a first hand view of how busy it has been, “crazy, absolutely crazy.”
But Jim just has to laugh, “why do you think I’m (shopping) this early in the morning?”
