This weekend the federal NDP Leadership hopefuls will have the first rounds of debate in Ottawa.
Organizer Sally Housser says that there will be a big role for social media during the event as they have received hundreds of questions through their website via e-mail, twitter and youtube.
She says that their will be “a lot of debate on things that are important to New Democrats across the country.”
Housser adds that its a good way to introduce all the candidates.
There will be five other party run debates in the coming months in Halifax, Quebec City, Winnipeg, Montreal and Vancouver.
There are nine candidates involved in the debates.
