Final day for Laurier celebrations

Laurier University puts the wraps on its centennial celebrations today.
It’s holding an end-of-centennial bash at Bingemans Conference Centre starting at 6:30 this evening.
It’s being billed as a “big, high-end party” with music, gourmet foods, prizes and a lot more.
Tickets are $100 each.
Originally called the Waterloo Lutheran Seminary of Canada when it opened in 1911, it changed its name to Wilfrid Laurier in 1973.
