Leaf collection set to begin

It’s that time of year again, the snow is not here yet, but dead leaves are covering your front lawn!
Your City will be helping you out by collecting leaves at your curb. It is suggested that you check your City’s website for dates and times of pickup so that you do not rake leaves to early or to late.
Some things to keep in mind when raking your leaves:
Do not pile leaves on sewer grates as this can cause flooding during heavy rainfall.
Do not mix rocks and sticks in with the leaves.
Do not park your car on the leaves the day of pickup.
Leaf details:
Kitchener: By zone from Nov. 7 to 30.
Waterloo: By zone, once per neighborhood from Oct. 24 to Nov. 18.
Cambridge: Once per neighborhood from Nov. 7 for several weeks.
