Tech-sector leader stands behind RIM

The man at the centre of the tech sector in Kitchener-Waterloo says he has absolute confidence in Research In Motion.
President of the Communitech Hub, Iian Klugman told 570 News the BlackBerry maker will continue to be successful and he sees the strength in their brand, “even with things like this blip in the last few days with the service interuption, it’s still a remarkable company with a strong, loyal base, great products and more to come.”
However, Klugman said it’s clear RIM is going through a full year of transition, “not a quarter, but a full year of transition as they move to the new platform (QNX based phones),” Klugman goes on to highlight the positives, “they’ve got a bunch of great devices that are in market now that are that are selling extremely well, they’ve given good guidance as to what to expect at the next financial report, so we continue to have absolute confidence.”
Klugman had been speaking at this years Oktoberfest President’s Luncheon.
