It’s been 30 days in the making, but it’s finally here. Today is election day for the Province of Ontario.
All polls will be open for 12 hours today, and here in Waterloo Region – they open at 9:00am.
A bit of advice from Elections Ontario for you when you go to the polls today.
1 – Don’t forget your voter card and your ID with your name and address.
2 – Acceptable ID includes an Ontario driver’s licence/permit, a utility bill or any document issued by the Government of Canada, Ontario or a municipality.
3 – If you don’t have a voter card, and you’re not on the voters list, you will need to provide proof of name and residence and sign a declaration to obtain a ballot.
