Celebrating 63 years in business

It’s a big day today for Kuntz Electroplating of Kitchener.

It’s celebrating its 63rd year in business this month with a host of events planned, including a luncheon today and a visit to the Wilson Avenue plant by officials from the Harley Davidson Motor Company.

For the past ten years, Kuntz has supplied surface finishing – or polishing and plating – for the legendary motorcycle maker.

Mike Kuntz, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, tells 570’s Jeff Allan Show when you look at almost any Harley Davidson motorcycle these days “all that shiny jewelry and chrome that you see in the middle of that motorcycle” is made in Kitchener.

Harley-Davidson makes up 35% of the sales for Kuntz.
