Final day for advance polls

Today is the last day to cast ballots at advance polls, ahead of Thursday’s election, and for the first time in Ontario history, some were set up at nearly all college and university campuses.
Those included Wilfrid Laurier University, the University of Waterloo and Conestoga College.
The one at Conestoga was in the Student Residence lobby area.
If that station is any indication, it appears the party leaders have some work to do to get the vote out.
Many of the students 570 News spoke with yesterday afternoon are not planning to vote.
We did talk with some that said they still have research to do and one that said she would be voting.
Still, a security guard stationed there indicated in the time she had been on duty, roughly 10 people had cast a ballot.
