It’s all about being friendly today.
It’s “Say Hi Day” at schools across Waterloo Region.
The idea is to promote friendliness and inclusiveness in hopes of making schools safer.
The Waterloo Region Crime Prevention Council says the message is simple: A connected school is a safer school.
So, before the kids head off to classes today, see if they are wearing black and yellow, which are the “Say Hi” colours.
Schools across the Region have various activities planned to mark the occasion.
